Celtic Thunder Symphony Tour kicks off in Clearwater, FL on November 14th. This will be a first for Celtic Thunder, who will depart from their traditional and critically-acclaimed large set productions to perform songs from their 2013 chart-topping album Christmas Voices in a dynamic live music experience accentuated by the instrumentals of a full symphony orchestra. They will be joined in each market by prestigious local orchestras such as the Dallas Pops, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra,Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and Nashville Symphony Orchestra to name but a few. The breathtaking show will feature holiday favorites ranging from traditional carols 'Away in A Manger', and 'O Holy Night' to the more contemporary 'Mary’s Boy Child' and 'Fairytale of New York', as well as signature Celtic Thunder hit songs such as 'Ireland’s Call' and 'Turning Away' and traditional Irish numbers 'Dulaman' and 'My Land'. Celtic Thunder will perform a mixture of solo, duets and ensemble numbers in what is sure to be a spectacular concert. 

Replacing former member Emmet Cahill, Celtic Thunder will also introduce their newest member Emmett O’Hanlon to CT audiences on the Symphony Tour. Emmett is an Irish American baritone who joins Celtic Thunder for the 2014 Cruise and for the  Symphony Tour which is scheduled to start immediately afterwards.  Emmett was born and raised in New York to Irish parents and is currently finishing his Master Degree in Voice at Julliard School of Music. The Very Best of Celtic Thunder Tour” kicks off in Florida in February 2015 and features an eclectic collection of the group’s best-loved and most popular songs from the past seven years. Drawing material from Celtic Thunder’s nine Public Television Specials, eleven CDs and DVDs and eight US tours to date, “The Very Best Of Celtic Thunder” tour aims to combine all Celtic Thunder classics, fan favorites and hit songs into a formidable stage show, married with that huge Celtic Thunder signature sound, dramatic lighting and imposing set that audiences and fans everywhere have come to expect from a Celtic Thunder show.

The three month tour will call on cities that Celtic Thunder have not visited in a while, favorite venues and new audiences. Some of the Spring 2015 tour dates are currently available for pledge through Public Television and the balance of the dates and Meet & Greet passes will be available on Public Television in August 2014.
