All for that!!!! We went to Cherokee and it was AWESOME!!! I know there are lots of fans up here so Knoxville would be great! I keep hoping they will come back between Roanoke and Knoxville and in between for next year, going to be hard to wait a whole year! Better yet all three and might get to see three shows:)

Is anyone from the Knoxville area going to the Cherokee concert on Oct.8th? I'm in Lenoir City, about 25miles from Knxville. It would be great to meet up with someone from TN since I'm going alone. My ticket came FedEx today. Was getting worried.

Hi ZbRockin, Keep asking for a Tennessee Concert here at The Tennessee Theatre, it would be perfect. I went to the concert in Oct. 15, 2011 in Atlanta at the Fox Theatre. The Tennessee Theatre has been restored to its original beauty and is actually more beautiful than the Fox. We could form a Street Team to promote CT. How about it!! My 14 yr granddaughter, Darian, and I are fanatically CT Thunderheads.

The TN Theatre is gorgeous but it holds only 1600 people, Sharon says she looks at theaters over 2000, of course maybe they could hold 2 shows there. The more the merrier.

My seat is section 102, Row H,seat 1. On the floor. No one around here knew who they were when i was getting my ticket in April. so I just decided I'd go by myself. The trip to cherokee is only about 2 hours for me. I drive that just about every saturday just to get away.

I'm in Tri-cities area and know lots of people that have travelled to Roanoke shows and are going to Cherokee (me included!). I've even seen fans out and about proudly wearing their CT shirts! Our area has deep irish -scot roots and has several celtic celebrations during the year so hopefully in future they can come to the area and join in! Could you imagine them coming into Neyland Stadium with 110,000 fans singing Rocky Top and Ireland's Call with them!

Neyland Stadium would be awful, they sound much better in theaters. But that might be interesting to see. I'm trying for a Chattanooga show, but Knoxville will also work for me.

My grand-daughter, Darian, and I are two fanatically in love with CT. We have been pleading for them to come to Knoxville, Tennessee since they started. We have even sent blogs to Sharon Browne the great venues we have here. Come on Tennessee Thunderheads, lets sound off loud and clear. They may hear us!!!! We could sing "Rocky Top" for them if this recorded music. We even have an Irish Pub called "Irish Times" in West Knoxville that Keith could do a gig. I have even told Keith to pull some strings and get them to come here. We will go to see them in Atlanta on Oct 15, 2011, but that is too far when they have such great venues right here. I know right!! Knoxville would be great!! I also went to the Atlanta concert, and it was worth it!! My mom just didn't like all the driving though. They used to come to Nashville but they don't anymore. I don't get it...

Is this a clue of things to come? I most certainly wish it was. I could do Nashville on a weeknight and still make it to work the next day. Knoxville would be the best, though!

Honestly I know as much as you all do. Usually a big clue is where they go for PBS visits. So watch for that list. If they visit a station in TN then there is probably a given that there will be a show somewhere in TN as well. Otherwise I have no insider info.

I know Damian usually tweets that they come to Nashville to visit if they have a concert in Atlanta or SC. But, you never know. I could do Nashville on a school night and make up for it another day but it would have to be an 8:00pm show.

Since it's been awhile since this thread was used, I was wondering if anyone from Tennessee has joined the forum. I'm in Chattanooga & love finding new Thunderheads.
On my way to the Atlanta concert in Nov. I met a lady also from Chatt. at a gas station. She noticed the shirts we were wearing and we chatted for a few minutes. Sometimes the places I run into Thunderheads is amazing.

I might have said this before... I'm not in TN, but I'm only 30 minutes from the TN line (At Roan Mountain).
I went to Chattanooga this fall with a group of friends. It was the first time I'd been; we stayed in a cabin on the river. Chattanooga is a neat city.
