NEW YEAR - January 7, 2011

..........Before I finish I wanna talk about Celtic Thunder. With the snippet released this week of "Heritage" it stopped me in my tracks. I forgot. I forgot what it was I was a part of, and to a huge extent, still am. I am immensely proud of what I did with the boys. This show I think is gonna be great. I had a lot of fun recording it and hope it goes multi platinum for the boys. Its my last recording with the gang so really hope it does well. Celtic Thunder have a very busy schedule ahead promoting this and I want to take this chance to wish Emmet all the best.

new chapter - November 28, 2010

So Ive spent the day wondering how to go about writing this blog. Its hard to know what to say to you all. I suppose its because over the years with Celtic Thunder I have had the pleasure of getting to know so many of you and consider you all as my extended American family.

Volcanic Ash - May 10, 2010

Volcanic Ash!!!!!!!!!!

I do feel sometimes, like I am back in school and I know Im due to do something like homework, which I keep putting on the long finger. However, Im careful not to flatter myself into thinking that there are people anxiously waiting for my occasionally interesting thoughts(blog). Although, I know one or two will often check out what Im up to, so I would hate to disappoint.

Station Visit's - March 6, 2010

There is truly nothing in the world like these promo trips! Why? Well we all get split up to cover as much ground as possible, and when I say ground I mean PBS stations.
PBS is a truely unique product of American community. Its something, I feel every community should be proud of. To think that these stations are run predominantly on peoples donations is incredible. We recently visited one in Pennsylavania and were told that their funding for 2010 had been cut by 90% and that they expected the rest to go too....................

The Month of love - February 16, 2010

So now that Valentines is over do we all start getting ready for Christmas? It just seems mad that as soon as one thing is over the shops have some other event you NEED to celebrate. I call these Hallmark Holidays. Valentines was a lot of fun and I do enjoy making that little bit of effort. Even when I was a kid I used to make cards and drop them through a letterbox of some unsuspecting and usually uninterested girl in my area. I do feel the age of romance is dying so Valentines is a good idea to encourage people to make a little gesture of love.

2010 here we go ! - January 28, 2010

So Christmas has been and gone and we are right in the thick of 2010! After spending 10 days on the Caribbean I feel ready for the remainder of JAnuary and whatever else the winter has to throw at me! Lovin being at home at the moment and am getting a lot done. Heading to London on Saturday to record some new material and have written one or two new songs as well which I hope to get down on track by the summer. All in all, its work work work. Even getting to the gym more regularly which is always welcomed.
